Welcome to the Host Nosh knowledge base.
We've built a very comprehensive documentation system that shows you how to manage all aspects of your Host Nosh hosting, as well as providing you with tips and tricks on how to manage your website and domains.
Log in to cPanel
Once you order hosting from Host Nosh, you will receive a welcome email with details on how to log into our hosting control panel once your hosting is activated (this should be done within a few minutes of placing your order). If for any reason you do not receive your welcome email, please contact us so we can check that everything went well.
As for logging into your hosting, the first step is to log into https://clients.hostnosh.com. Once you’re logged in here, click on Services and then My Services. Your hosting package will be listed here – click on the package you want to log into and then on the next page click Log in to cPanel.
Your login details are stored as a secure token in this area (rather than your plain text username and password) - if for any reason your login fails, please contact us and we will be able to reset this to enable you to log in.
Once you log into your cPanel control panel, you’ll be presented with a set of icons that allow you to manage all aspects of your hosting with NoshMac. One of the most common things to set up right away is email – click on Email Accounts and from here you can start setting up your @yourdomain.com email addresses.
To access your email, you can use an email client such as Mac Mail, Outlook, or Thunderbird, or you can use webmail. Webmail can be accessed by visiting https://webmail.[yourdomain.com]. You will need to log in with the email username and password you created earlier. If you need any help setting up your email client, please let us know - we can help you get set up.
Install applications (eg WordPress)
In your cPanel, scroll down and look for the icon that says “Softaculous Apps Installer”. Click on the icon of the application you want to install, for example – WordPress, Magento, Prestashop, or Joomla – and then the system will ask you for some additional information. Click “Install” once you have entered it, and then you will be able to log in to the admin area to start using your application.
Name servers
If you order a domain from NoshMac with your hosting, your nameservers will automatically be set to link to your hosting with us. If you transfer a domain, or if you want to use a domain you registered elsewhere, you will need to update your nameservers to:-
ns1.hostnosh.com
ns2.hostnosh.com
ns3.hostnosh.com
ns4.hostnosh.com
After you make the change, it may take up to 24 hours for the change to propagate and appear in your browser.
Access the full potential of web hosting with host nosh featuring a new user-friendly client area, simplified ordering process.
